Ashok Pai AKA Beyond Charlie started experimenting with production tools Like FL Studio, Technomatrix and Ableton at a very early age. Soon after, his Law college days in 2006, he was introduced to Djing and the other elements of production. Beyond Charlie is known for his unique blend of Indian Classical, Carnatic and Indi Folk music with electronica. Beyond Charlie discovered his love for House music early on, when the innovative Techno and Electronic sounds infiltrated back in 2006. This introduction to House music changed his life and he has embraced electronic soul music wholeheartedly ever since. The year was 2010 when Beyond Charlie moved to Hamburg, Germany and was introduced to Techno. He absolutely fell in love with the genre and techno has continued to influence his style until now. Beyond Charlie is renowned for bringing together talented artists, musicians from all over the country for special events with that deep funky appeal.
