Currently residing in Gaborone Botswana, Bobby Majest has developed himself as a multilingual singer spanning from English and Setswana to Igbo and Pidgin. Inspired by the vastness of different African cultures, he aspires to bring Africans together through sound and music.In 2018, his hit song ‘Gbabaegwu’ featuring a Motswana artist named Dacity, took over radio stations in Botswana. It received radio play in Nigeria and was featured on a reputable television channel by the name of Trace TV. Bobby graced the radio waves of Gabz FM as the presenter of a show name ‘Top 20 African Hits with Bobby Majest’ for one year. Within this time frame of gaining industry knowledge, he collaborated with celebrated radio host and local artist Brando Keabilwe, alongside various artists from Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia, soon to be featured on his upcoming debut album. In 2021, he successfully released a song titled ‘Particular 1’ off the Expensive Taste EP featuring 3 Zambian artists.
