Brent Thomas Mills, a multifaceted artist, producer, director, and DJ, embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of seven, mastering the piano by ear. By twelve, he had joined a drum & bugle corps, and at fourteen, he embarked on his first tour. His early achievements culminated in becoming a Latin dance champion at seventeen. Brent’s formal education includes studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, specializing in Piano Performance, and Brigham Young University, specializing in Composite Dance. Brent’s innate ability to synergize music with movement was discovered during his time at Brigham Young University. Hired to accompany modern dance and ballet classes, he discovered an ability to spontaneously create beats, rhythms, and melodies as he observed specific dance choreography. This unique talent led him to work with renowned institutions such as the Martha Graham School, Alvin Ailey, and Doris Humphrey, where he honed his skills further.
