Cia-Grace Kane is an independent songwriter and recording artist known for emotionally charged storytelling and music that refuses to stay neatly inside one genre. Rooted primarily in rock while drawing on a broad range of musical influences, her songs explore love, loss, resilience, identity and the complicated business of being human. A writer at heart, Cia approaches songwriting much like writing a scene: character, emotion and narrative come first. Writing authentically from both female and male perspectives, she inhabits the characters and emotions at the heart of each song rather than being confined to a single point of view. Whether intimate and vulnerable or unapologetically defiant, her music is built around one constant—the story has to mean something. Cia writes and records under the professional name Cia Kane and has built an international audience through her original music and connection with fan communities.
