behind a wall of shrieking, painful & emotional screams, occasionally accompaied with disturbing spoken word & shattered melodies, is no one but local Northamptonshire-based artist, producer & songwriter CJ, adapting the moniker of cj_:P, an ode to the golden days of MySpace & Tumblr. while his main occupation is providing vocals & songwriting for the Northampton-based deathcore quintet Slaves to Malevolence, he tends to showcase his flexibility & versatility as an artist throughout his solo work, be it with agonising & gut-wrenching skramz & emo (albeit with better recording quality rather than sounding like it was recorded in a Nokia 3310), to more trashy, crazy hyperpop, all paired with raw and blunt, flesh-slicing lyricism, there's no question about what he can and can't do.
