Alternative Rock Band from Kentucky. We write songs from an honest place that gives our band its name; right in the tension between beauty and pain, belief and doubt, hope and fear, dreams and the real world. To us, music isn't just a coping mechanism, but a lifeline. Our stories are told in song, we learn who our neighbors are through song, our worldview is shaped and our impact on the world is told and motivated by song. We want our music to be something that connects people, both to one another and to their own purpose. We tend to write with our hearts on our sleeves, but not every song has to be ridiculously deep or all about changing the world; but if a song can positively impact 3 and a half minutes of your day somehow, whether by gripping you emotionally or simply giving you something to nod your head to on your way to work, then our songs have done what they were made for. There's one thing we always hope to remind you of: The world is better off with you here.
