Personal and Musical Background
Andres Tripputi (27), a Philadelphian singer-songwriter and drummer spent part of his childhood in his native city before his family returned to South America. He has lived in Buenos Aires and Venezuela, and visited Brazil. As a travelling multicultural teen and son of professional musicians, he grew up listening to a variety of music styles engaging in drum performing at age 12. He studied drums with renowned drummer Andrés Briceño at Simon Bolivar Conservatory (Caracas). While attending at Universidad de Los Andes (Merida) for his bachelor of music he participated in many Latin American ensembles, Jazz-Fusion and Rock bands/projects. As a lead rock singer, he performed in several Tribute bands such as: Tribute to Muse, as well in a Linkin Park Tribute Band, in wich he played drums and background vocals. In July 2020, electronic-rock band Royster (from Venezuela), the band he has belonged to since 2011, released its first EP: "Al Otro Lado" (From the
