I’m 50 years old, and music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My influences come from everywhere—from the powerful movie scores of John Williams to pop, rock, hip-hop, metal, and everything in between.
I grew up loving the pop charts, especially artists like Prince and David Bowie. “When Doves Cry” and “Let’s Dance” showed me how much personality, creativity, and emotion music could have.
In the ’90s, I became immersed in grunge and alternative rock—Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, and many more. Later came Nu Metal with Korn, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, and System of a Down.
I’ve never been a one-genre kind of person. I’m taking 50 years of influences, memories, and experiences and putting them into my own songs.
Still listening. Still writing. Still experimenting.
After 50 years, I’m finally adding my voice to the conversation.
And honestly, I’m just getting started.
