I think music for me is a selfish thing. Even though I share it with the world it is, for me, therapy. Creating is my beautiful journey through some of the most fucked up things I have been through, and that I am still going through. Even if no one else gets it. Creative people cannot help but create or they die inside. There is an intimacy to music that, I believe, not much can touch. Except love. So to all the creative people out there: Never stop creating, no matter what your medium is, no matter whether people get it or not. There is beauty in what you do, even if no one sees it. One day, someone will see it, and I mean really see it. See the beauty no matter how flawed it may be. Creativity, whether it is for selfish reasons or not, has the ability to change lives.
