Written x DA is the creative vessel of Darell Anthony—a bilingual storyteller born in Colorado and rooted in New Mexico soil. Through music that moves fluidly between English and Spanish, Written x DA maps the geography of emotional transformation: the scars, the healing, and everything that lives in between. The name carries intention: Written speaks to the power of putting pain into words, while DA anchors the work in personal identity. Together, they represent art that is both deeply intimate and universally resonant. From the defiant resilience of "Pase lo Que Pase" to the unflinching accountability of "Roll Call," from the raw ache of love that costs everything to the quiet storms that build before the thunder—this is music that refuses to choose between vulnerability and strength. Tracks like "too much" speak directly to those who've been told they're too intense, while "The Love I Give" honors the ones who love harder than they're loved in return.
