Sediq, born David L. Jefferson in 1965. Grew up listening to Soul, R&B, Jazz and Rock in south central Los Angeles, CA. Shortly after graduating high school Sediq joined the U.S. Army in 1983 and soon married his high school sweetheart Brigitte. Horribly in the summer of 1985 Brigitte committed suicide. Sediq openly admits that her death gave his music direction. His songs are drawn from personal experiences. Every one of them soulful and heartfelt. Since a young age, Sediq has found great joy and satisfaction by being involved in the creative music process.
