Doug is a drummer and media producer from Michigan — a state built on snowstorms, garage bands, and strong coffee. His mother sang John Denver songs to him as a young lad, while his father introduced him early to the sacred art of drumming through bands like Rush, Genesis, and The Police. Doug grew up studying the precision of Neil Peart, the swagger of Stewart Copeland, and the power of Phil Collins. Somewhere along the way, music became less of a hobby and more of a trade — equal parts rhythm, storytelling, and controlled chaos. Today, Doug blends drumming and media production with the same philosophy: hit with purpose, leave room for rhythm, and never trust anyone who says “we’ll fix it in post.” Whether behind a drum kit or a camera, he still believes the best things in life are built loud, honest, and with a little Michigan grit.
