Evelyn Jackson is an Indie Folk, Americana musician and singer-songwriter serving up tunes in Austin, TX. Her music is a melodic journal that portrays the stories of her life; childhood, motherhood, young dreams for the future overcoming grief, and the heartbreak of losing a marriage. Her raw and soulful lyrics are depictions of the deepest felt emotions in this adventure that is life.  Evelyn grew up in a large, musical family. She began making music as soon as her little finger could move. At the age of fourteen she began adding to her catalogue of songs and hasn't stopped writing since. In 2014, she joined the musical group Girls'N' Guitars in Waco, TX, and began her live music career. Most recently, Evelyn lead vocalist, guitar and piano player for her own band. She is also one-half to the Monterey, CA based Americana duo The Tell Tales. Evelyn is currently dedicating the majority of her time to recording her first solo album and playing live music in Austin, TX.
