Facing Waves' sound mixes elements of indie pop acts like Fly By Midnight, Nightly and LANY with songwriting that comes from the heart. They capture their thoughts, emotions and stories, and bring them to life through their catchy melodies and hooks.
Filiph Arveroth-Falk and Jimmy Södermark met as childhood friends back in 2008 with dreams of starting a band and touring the world. They formed several bands with genres ranging from alternative rock to post-metal. Fast forward to 2021, they decided it was time to try something new as they formed the pop project Facing Waves. But this time as a duo, with nothing stopping them from creating the music of their dreams.
Facing Waves is a story about self discovery. It’s a journey of two friends trying to see the world for what it is and with the ambition to relay their experiences through music. We love dreamlike soundscapes & catchy lyrics. Welcome to our world of music! 🌞
