France

FARACS is a French artist who writes in English, somewhere between alternative pop, rock and the dancefloor. He grew up in a small town in the French Alps, where the rest of the world came through magazines, music and TV. Music has always been there, and so has the urge to make his own. After years of dreaming about leaving, he finally did. Since then he has lived in France, the UK and Italy, and changed pretty much everything else along the way. His songs come out of those years, and keep coming back to the same question: who you become when nobody around you knows who you used to be. His debut single, "2004", goes back to where it all started. His first EP, "Off Licence", follows in February 2027. It moves between gang-vocal singalongs, after-midnight dance-rock and a bare piano ballad.
