Gemma Kate is a singer/songwriter from Sydney's Northern Beaches whose folk-influenced pop music takes inspiration from a broad range of contemporary artists including Maisie Peters, Noah Kahan and Olivia Rodrigo. Passionate about telling stories through music, Gemma is rapidly building an impressive repertoire of original music reflecting melody and complex lyricism that is uniquely hers. A songwriter at heart, Gemma loves live performance and collaborating with others across any genre, utilising a wide range of vocal styles and instruments including guitar, piano and saxophone. Gemma is a graduate of the Talent Development Project 23/24, a highly selective program linking high school students to industry professionals. Gemma aspires to write, perform and produce music for herself and other artists, with collaboration, learning and connecting ideas with others at the heart of her work.
