London, United Kingdom

Greek singer, songwriter and musician based in London. My musical journey began in Greece in the late 1970s and includes collaborations with some of the country's most important musical figures, including Manos Hadjidakis. After decades of live performance and songwriting across Greece and the UK, I am now returning to recording and releasing new music under the name George Michalisles. My work bridges Greek and international musical influences, drawing from rock, acoustic and contemporary styles shaped by performances, recordings and travels across Europe. Whether interpreting songs written by others or presenting original material, I continue to believe in music's unique ability to tell stories, preserve memories and connect people across generations.
