Gerard Baladad is a composer, music producer, and sound engineering student based in Doha, Qatar. He is currently taking his BA (Honours) Music Production and Sound Engineering degree at Point Blank Music School, London in partnership with Middlesex University, London. He is an Avid Certified Pro Tools User. He has recently composed the score for "Dear Bassey", an award-winning short film from Studio Goke, directed by Emily Nkanga. His listeners admire his creative arrangement and production skills, dreamy sounds, and soaring melodies instantly noticeable in his music. Gerard is also a Sound Engineering intern at Katara Studios which is one of the world’s most technically equipped audio/audio-visual facilities; located in the burgeoning hub of the Middle East, Doha, Qatar.
