Based in Calasiao, Pangasinan, Musiko is the creative alias of Ginbert Jerald C. Martinez. While many artists rush into the industry, Musiko took a different path—one of patience and preparation. His story began in 2009 on the guitar strings of his local church, eventually growing into a 15-year career as a multi-instrumentalist and session player. It was only last year that Musiko felt the timing was right to share his original compositions with a wider audience. Choosing to prioritize artistic expression over the pursuit of fame or money, he views his recordings as a gift to the listener. Having spent a decade and a half mastering his instruments, he now brings that wealth of experience to his debut releases. Musiko’s music is a reflection of a man who has lived a thousand songs before ever hitting "record," offering a sound that is as grounded as it is inspired.
