I, Glen Hermann, am the primary band member of Totem Tabu, an electronic music group formed in 2020 in Los Angeles, California, USA. I play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums. Guitar is my main instrument. I typically experiment with trip hop, techno, world, dub, IDM, industrial and jazz fusion. Most of my songs feature original turntable scratching of old archived interviews, documentary voice overs and other voice material used by permission. I used to play live often supporting various bands in the 1980s. In the 1990s, I owned Big Ears Audio, a recording studio in New Mexico focusing on producing advertisements for radio and TV, plus recording many local artists. Now I simply like creating new recordings for Totem Tabu and collaborating with others on their projects.
