Music has been part of my life since childhood. I began on piano, moved to cello by eight, studied theory extensively, and later explored bass guitar, drawing inspiration from Lennon & McCartney, Queen, Rush and AC/DC.
After decades away from making music, everything changed when I lost my mother to cancer in 2021. The grief led me back to the family piano and to writing “Dear Mother,” a simple song that unexpectedly reopened the door to songwriting.
Since then, I’ve continued writing my own lyrics and melodies, often developing them first at the piano and converting the music to sheet form before using Suno as a production tool to help bring the songs to life.
Five years later, I’m still writing. Songs about love, loss, family, memory and time.
What began in grief became a return to music I never expected.
