G-therz is an American rapper out of Holmdel, New Jersey. He began releasing music in 2017 in the group Trihplah H, but he has embarked on a solo career ever since. G-therz is known locally for creating his signature "jazz-trap" sound, which combines various genres of jazz, modern hip-hop/trap production, and 1990s-era lyricism. He debuted this sound as a solo artist on his 2018 mixtape "Cycles", but diverged from it on his politically-charged EP "Deeper Thoughts", featuring the hit single "Covfefe". 2019 saw G-therz diversify his sound again on "The Bread Maker", a mixtape full of fun hip-hop/trap songs combining rock, pop, and electronic dance music. Plus, the record features an artists on nearly every song. However, G-therz prepared his most personal record to date in 2020 with "Popular Loser: The Jazz Trap LP". The mixtape is a return to his "jazz-trap" roots, and is conceptually based on G-therz, the performer, turning into Rye Guether, the person, and back again.
