At the heart of our sound lies a dynamic interplay of diverse influences, ranging from the complex arrangements of progressive rock to the vibrant textures of contemporary pop. Drawing inspiration from pioneers of both genres, we craft compositions that push the boundaries of conventional songwriting, exploring unconventional time signatures, unconventional song structures, and experimental instrumentation. IDLA is composed of two musical geniuses. German (Singer Song Writer) based in Texas and Martin (Guitars/Beat Maker/Producer) based in San Francisco. A short background of us, we are hail from the Philippines making our way here to the US to embark professional journey. German as a Teacher and Martin as a Car Technician Specialist, we both find ourselves going back to what we really to do. 11 songs to feed our souls with ethereal synths intertwine with pulsating baselines, while intricate guitar riffs dance atop layers of lush harmonies, creating a rich tapestry of IDLA.
