Dana Louise Menard, professionally known as ProjectPolly, is an independent Canadian hip-hop artist, vocalist, and self-produced recording professional. Her work is characterized by a hybrid sound that merges hip-hop lyricism with rock energy and melodic vocal structures. Operating outside traditional label systems, she maintains full creative and technical control over her music, including songwriting, composition, recording, and mixing. Her artistic identity is defined by raw, emotionally direct content and a refusal to conform to genre constraints. This positions her within Canada’s emerging independent artist sector, where multidisciplinary skill sets and self-sufficiency are increasingly critical.
