Winston-Salem

Jay McCormick is a rising country artist out of Winston-Salem, NC, raised on the Bama-Georgia line and rooted in the storytelling tradition of red dirt country. With a sound that can drift from a slow-burning Western ballad to a soulful, rock-driven anthem, Jay’s music carries both grit and heart. His debut single, “Over Alabama,” released in August 2025, introduces listeners to his raw, place-driven style — blending personal storytelling with the spirit of the South. It’s the first of many songs that showcase his passion, energy, and ability to turn life’s moments into music that connects. Authentic and full of drive, Jay McCormick is carving out his own lane in today’s country scene, one story at a time.
