I make music for hopeless romantics like me jomch (Josh Chan) is an Indie Pop and R&B singer/songwriter/producer based in Isla Vista, California. He was born in Manila, Philippines, and lived in the Bicol Region until he was four. Then, he and his family moved to Chicago, IL, USA, where he spent most of his childhood. He grew up singing karaoke in front of his family and friends, often performing classic love songs, ballads, and R&B music. As a teenager, he and his family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. In the 8th grade, he learned to play guitar after being inspired by one of his friends. Then, towards the end of his senior year of high school, he began posting covers of his favorite songs on Instagram and Youtube. After moving to Isla Vista, CA, to attend college at UC Santa Barbara, he met several artists who inspired him to produce and release music for the first time in 2022.
