JRNL, pronounced “Journal”, is a young artist with R&B and Soul as large influences on his sound. While his first single would not be published for another year, in 2019 he made his name. The name JRNL was an ode to the first time the artist realized the power of writing, when he wrote in a journal. JRNL are also the artist’s initials, as well as a way to inform the listeners to look between the lines while enjoying his music.
