growing pains
“growing pains” has been with me since my freshman year of college. I wrote it when I returned from school for the first time and felt like a stranger in my childhood home. If you know me, you know I’ve always really struggled with change, so when I felt that way this song came tumbling out. This song being my first release was so important to me. It holds a special place in my heart for me and my family. Growing up sucks but it’s SO MUCH BETTER with people you love around and with this release I’ve realized how lucky I am to be surrounded by love, support, and community in the way that I am. more
