I create soulful Messianic EDM that makes you dance like King David and worship the King of the Universe. The name comes from a combination of the Hebrew words Kavod (glory, honor, abundance) + Avodah (labor, service, worship) Our songs come out of lived experiences following the way of our glorious Father & King, as well as re-imagined, modern versions of your favorite Psalms and other passages in the Bible.

Rise Like Birds
"The words must not fall off our lips like dead leaves in the autumn. They must rise like birds out of the heart into the vast expanse of eternity." I haven't been able to get this quote out of my head since I read several years ago in a book called "Quest for God," and so I had to write some lyrics and turn it into a song. Do you feel like your prayers just fall to the ground? Maybe your prayers have become dry, routine, and lifeless words. Is prayer just a ritual we perform? Where our words go into the void in hopes they will fall on the ears of a distant cosmic deity? If this is the case our prayers are meaningless. We must bring our whole selves to God in prayer. With intentional effort and expectation that the God of the universe hears us and will speak. Your prayers may have fallen dry, but a spark remains. May you bring the words from your heart as an offering fit for a King. May God's Spirit turn that ember into a holy flame of awareness of a God who wants to hear from you as you worship him from your heart.more
