Alison Cross got left at the altar and decided to write an album about it. Residing in Vermont with her husband, she is the lead vocalist and songwriter for the pop rock band Last Bit of Advice. Starting her freshman year of high school, Alison began voice lessons and spent ten years exercising her talents in operettas and community theatre productions. She also tried her hand at directing plays and musicals and still gets dragged into productions from time to time. She prefers the solitude of her pantry, however, which may be haunted, but works incredibly well as a recording studio and is stocked with Oreos and Cheetos, Alison's two major food groups. Alison's musical influences stretch from Porgy and Bess to Paramore, from MxPx to Rascal Flatts, from Elton John to New Found Glory.

Brian
A lifetime ago, I dated a guy who had a girlfriend. His name was Brian. LYRICS... You had a girl, but I pretended not to know Playing guitar on the passenger side While you'd drive We were the only people alive Outside of town we had our Paris for a time Numbered days ticking like a bomb And you, calm, As you traced your name in my palm We knew the end at the start inhaling September air Playing the weekend by heart on a road to nowhere CHORUS So far gone Finding a place where we're not wrong Thinking one day we can just move on Making the bed that we lie in, Brian We couldn't stop or we would see what we'd become Only able to have our fun when you're done twirling your girl around in the sun Got a good look 'cause we were bound to blow apart What a real exciting mistake Hard to break But oh so easy to make I knew the end at the start, still I started to care Wishing I'd played it smart when I landed nowhere CHORUS We wanted one last word, one last laugh There was no way to win You picked your girl, now all that I am is just somewhere you've been CHORUS Then someday Absent-minded on the highway I'll be reminded we left Sunday Hiding my face while I'm crying, Brianmore
