Born and raised in Chautauqua County, a rural county in Western New York, LAWTON JAY is an Indie, Indie Pop, Indie Alternative, Modern Rock and Rock artist. The music of LAWTON JAY is authentic, reflective and introspective. LAWTON JAY has teamed up with his father, Todd Tranum, to produce, publish and distribute his music. Musically LAWTON JAY identifies The Beatles, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, The Killers and the Strokes as his major influences. When he is not in the studio, LAWTON JAY may be found working at a local restaurant, wake surfing or hanging out with friends. LAWTON JAY is studying Computer Science at Fordham University in NYC.
