Leocciano Callao is a Brooklyn-based songwriter, rapper, and guitarist. Born and raised in the province of Bukidnon in the Philippines, Leo started playing music at the early age of eight. His father is a singer, songwriter and musician-- immediately being his first influence to make music. Leo's dad wrote songs specifically for him and his sisters so he can perform with them during his gigs. Leo recorded his first rap song when the FlipTop rap battle league took the Philippines by storm, influencing kids to write songs and battle as well. One of his first influences in rap was Mike Shinoda, as his father introduced him to Linkin Park at a young age. In 2022, Leo played music with Megan Wilcox, this partnership led to two performances at the iconic Triad Theater Off Broadway in New York City. Leo works as a sports journalist and played four years of college soccer. But when he is not reporting about sports, you can find him making music with other artists or at a local open mic.
