I've been writing lyrics for years, some on little scraps of paper, many as poetry for my wife. I believe that the words of a song are equally as important as the music. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, listening to early Rock and Roll, and always knew the lyrics even when I couldn't tell who performed the work. Lyrics that make us think, "Yea, I've felt that before," connect us to the music. I've recently discovered the collaboration site, Kompoz, and with the help of many kind musicians have had the good fortune to have my words become songs. My first release on DistroKid is "Apathy" which expresses my concerns for our ever-changing world. I have a collection of my latest songs on Bandcamp. You can check them out at bandcamp.com Put "Martin Nash" in the search. I hope to continue this exciting musical journey.
