Chicago, IL, USA

Born and raised in Chicago, IL., McKennen Campbell is an explorer of art, mainly through the mediums of music and theatrical performance. Through education, he was classically trained in music and other art forms since the age of 5. McKennen's music introduces an eclectic sound he calls ">g**** ****?_" This sound blends characteristics of classical music, experimental electronic music, hip-hop, jazz, R&B, pop, and soft rock. This sound marks the first period of creative exploration in his music career. McKennen takes an approach of “digital composing." He builds each song from scratch by writing note by note for every instrumental line in a DAW. In addition, he arranges all of his vocals and has full creative control of his sound. His creativity is a hypothesis for the future of pop where electrifying symphonies can underscore our world in the 21st century.
