My birth names are Aaron Lwanga, but I go by the name of MegaNote. I am a Zambian (African) male singer song writer. l was born in a shanty compound place called Makululu one of the poorest in Zambia and Africa. At the age of 11, l became paralyzed waist down and it was then when my whole life completely shuttered into fragments or pieces I could not mend. Because in the previous two years before the paralysis, I had just lost (died) both my parents and I was taken in by my grand mother. My grand mother never worked she was never educated to have a career and because I could not walk, we couldn't afford a wheelchair and thus I was unable to go to school or socialize at all . It was then that I realized I found my solace in rhythms and melodies. even though I experienced rejection , humiliation and stigmatization because of my disability I always believed things will one day get better. As a copping mechanism to the hardship, I started transferring all the pain into music.
