Preteen twins Max Greene and Ava Greene make up the duo MistFire. Max and Ava are currently middle schoolers in Raleigh, North Carolina where they specialize in the Mandarin Chinese Language and Science.
They performed their original songs inside The Mule at Devil’s Foot Beverage in Asheville for the 2026 GenZ Battle of the Bands.
During Spring Break 2026, their first five tracks were recorded by Lawson Alderson at Drop of Sun Studios in West Asheville.
The acoustic sets will be recorded by Matt Horton of Post Pro this summer 2026 in Raleigh.
