For Mike’s first 10 years or so, he lived with his father on the beach isolated from society. He became feral. The next 10 years or so he moved to a different town every year with his mother like a military "brat". His mother was a musician who played piano and sang in cocktail lounges like the piano man in the Billy Joel song. He became introverted. In 1992 at the height of grunge, he moved to Seattle, WA, USA to learn audio engineering. He worked as freelancer producing 3D animation and motion graphics while maintaining day jobs as a property manager and a contractor renovating apartments. He tried to rent to artists only but most were priced out of the area by low-rise legislation. Mike’s influences are soft, hard and progressive rock of the 70’s like Aerosmith, Rush, Yes & BOC but he enjoys anything that leans toward the dark, industrial or metal. He still enjoys creating digital art and working with power tools but he has shifted his focus to creating music.
