Navid Fashami (Born March 23, 1982) Filmmaker, Film Score Writer & Composer He started composing by songwriting about twenty years ago. Having entered the Faculty of Cinema, which made him acquainted with drama, rhythm and scene aestheticism, then he decided to compose film score. Navid learned musical literacy (history and composing) with Peyman Soltani, Mehran Rouhani, Vartan Sahakian and followed film score with the late Babak Bayat (a famous Iranian Composer), and Alexandre Desplat (an International/Oscar winner Film Composer). “Meanwhile, I not only love songwriting but I also love festooning films with music. Besides, if there is a word to be said, I would love to picture it, that to be able to make my existence lighter, smoother and more colourful.”
