Autumn Inspiration is the musical playground of Norwegian guitarist and composer, Øystein Bærkas-Buer. The name, Autumn Inspiration, has been around for over 20 years. First as a songwriting duo that Øystein started, before it grew into a progressive metal band a few years later. The other members were bassist, Ole Vistnes (Shining, Tristania) and drummer, Jon Eirik Bokn (The Cult of Destiny, Venus Flycatchers, Chrome Division). The band hasn´t been active for more than a decade, but now Autumn Inspiration will rise from the ashes as Øystein´s solo project.
