One Less Vulture is the music of Paul Spatola. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he grew up playing piano at age 5 and began writing songs at age 9. He taught himself guitar at age 11 and started playing in bands throughout school. Paul was the lead guitarist/songwriter/backing vocals and keyboard/pianist for the band HURT from 2004-2011. During that time, HURT was signed to Capitol Records and had a handful of Top 20 singles on the Billboard rock charts. "Ten Ton Brick" was the first song written by Paul for the band and was awarded with "Rock Song of the Year " by Sesac in 2007. After leaving the band in late 2011, he took a break from the music industry and had a son. Then, after another musical project didn't materialize, he chose to release music on his own. One Less Vulture has a rock foundation whilst incorporating other influences like early r&b and some post-punk vibes. Enjoy!
