Plettenberg

polariot. – that’s Austin (vocals, songwriting, rhythm guitar), Vince (lead guitar), Marc (drums), and Oli (bass) – a modern indie-pop/rock band for everyone who loves real, heartfelt music. We started in 2008 with a hometown gig and released our first EP "love exists..." in 2012, followed by "Nothing Like The First Kiss" in 2014. After a break, we returned in 2022 under a new name: polariot. Stronger, more honest, and more focused than ever. Our creative process begins with a feeling – captured by Austin on acoustic guitar and brought to life by the whole band. With Marc and Oli joining, everything finally clicked. Our new EP, made with Philipp Stephan (deafbird Studios), is the truest version of us yet – no pressure, just music we love. Our first single "where the planes fly low." drops on July 11, 2025 – and we can't wait to share it with the world.
