protype5

Slovenia

Protype 5 is a groove/sludge metal force built on raw sound, riffs and unfiltered intensity. The band combines the weight of slow, dirty sludge metal with the infectious rhythmicity of groove metal, creating a sound that is both punchy and hypnotic. Protype 5's sound is based on a dark atmosphere and relentless rhythmic energy. The band is led by Iztok Velišček as guitarist and vocalist, who switches between dark melodies and raw screams with riff aggression and expressive vocal interpretation. The low frequencies are held together with a strong and full bass by Blaž Bizjak, who builds the foundation of a wall of sound with heavy lines and a sense of groove. Behind the drums is Gregor Bizjak, who drives each song forward and creates a strong rhythmic backbone for the band.
