Hello, my name is Canary Garcia and I was born and raised in the Midwest. Pyre Blue is a project I started this year, yet I have been writing music since February of 2023 when I began playing for myself in my bedroom. I never had any intentions of ever having my songs *anywhere* online as I was overcoming depression and struggled to cope in healthy ways. I would describe my music as intimate and atmospheric, shaped by personal loss and the quiet resilience that followed. I have roots in visual art (BFA in traditional illustration) and a love for contrast—both sonic and emotional. Pyre Blue creates a space where vulnerability meets distortion, and softness carries weight.
