Ramona Wolf is a 20 year old folk-rock musician from North London. Their songs are inspired by the percussive, melodic sounds of the London underground, to create a dreamy, industrial take on folk music, & what it means to exist as a small part of a big machine. Wolf’s songs are deeply personal- they explore themes of escapism, loss & addiction. Lyrically, they blur the lines between literal and metaphorical; tonally, they blend atmosphere and accident, with warm, reverb-drenched vocals, city sounds, and cassette-like, nostalgic production. They spotlight personal & societal journeys - markedly how the world's perception of time, location, and identity shifted through the pandemic lockdowns.
