My name is Ricardo “Ric” Briones Jr., and I’m a 60-year-old truck driver from South Texas. I’ve spent more than 20 years behind the wheel, and the road has taught me a lot about hard work, patience, resilience, and appreciating the people who matter most.
Family means everything to me. I’m a proud father and grandfather, and I’m grateful to still have my parents and siblings in my life. I’ve experienced both great love and painful loss, and those experiences have shaped the man I am today.
Outside of work, I love music, especially country, Tejano, and rock, and I enjoy karaoke and writing my own songs. I’m also someone who enjoys a good conversation, a romantic dinner, a walk on the beach, a movie, or simply spending time with the people I love.
I believe life is too short to waste on negativity or playing games. I try to be honest, loyal, hardworking, and grateful—and to keep moving forward no matter what life puts in my path.
