It always feels weird to write a bio. You all know it’s me writing it. Why should I try to make it look like someone else is writing about me? I don’t think I will. So, here goes nothing. I’ve been writing songs for most of my life at this point. I really do love it. It hasn’t always been easy to keep going and there have been times when I thought about giving up. I even tip-toed up to that line, but when I got there I realized that I can’t just stop writing music. It’s a part of me that lives deep down in the source code of who I am. Even if I’m 101 years old with nothing to show for a lifetime of laboring over songs but my own excitement for the one I’m writing at the moment. That’s reason enough to keep going. I’ve made peace with that possibility. Anything more is a gift. So if you’re here and you’re listening thanks for being that gift.
