Hey, I'm Russell! I am an independent recording artist and mixing engineer. I’m twenty years old, I’m an Audio Production student at The Art Institute of Austin in Texas, and I love making music. From writing, recording, and producing, to editing, mixing, and mastering, I love being involved in it all. It’s hard to pin down exactly what genre I make, but it’s definitely an electronic and dreamy blend of contemporary pop. I have a few strong influences such as Jon Bellion, Jeremy Zucker, Vancouver Sleep Clinic, and EDEN that inspire a lot of my writing and production. somewhere & grown
“Somewhere & grown” is a song about how I thought I would be further along with life by now. It was written in the middle of a creative drought I was going through and it took me a year to finally finish and release it. It’s a song I am super proud of in terms of writing, recording, mixing, and mastering. To me, it’s a milestone for this whole music thing that I have been pursuing for some time now.more
