Multi-Instrumentalist and composer Sal Filipelli was twelve years old when his mother put him in piano lessons, which started a life-long love for creating music. Filipelli began playing the guitar, ukulele and occasionally bass during his high school years at San Diego School For Creative & Performing Arts (SCPA), where he began taking interest in composition. Filipelli considers himself a composer first, having traveled all over the United States and Europe performing at various venues, radio stations and television shows with releases such as Presents 23rd Century, The Sal Filipelli Band, and The Last Generation Of Tape. In 2011, Filipelli was working with various bands and venues to book and promote live shows while still composing songs for a new album. In 2013, he began working on new music with legendary former Family Stone frontman, Sly Stone.
