Silvertongue is an Alternative Folk Band based out of Portland, Oregon. Formed in Lowell Massachusetts by Andrew Stevens (singer/song-writer), Matt Garvin (Drummer), Jake Hogan (Guitarist) and Dorian Taylor (bassist). Silvertongue would later welcome Kevin Reilly as a bassist and recording engineer. Silvertongue offers a wide variety of sounds including melancholy piano ballads, upbeat folk songs, and fast-paced rock anthems. Silvertongue employs the use of many different instruments including banjo, harmonica, and alto saxophone.
