The Believers, consists of main songwriter and singer/producer - Jamie - along with sometimes collaborator Graham on guitar and songwriting/remixes. Based on the south coast of the UK, in sunny Bournemouth, the band love to write and record more than perform live these days, as other commitments won't allow for the rock n roll lifestyle of yesteryear anymore! Influences from Oasis (Noel), The Beatles, Queen, Bowie, Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Guns n Roses, The Charlatans, Cast, The Smiths, Manic Street Preachers, Stereophonics, Stone Roses and more recently Churches, Goldfrapp and the XX - to name but a few. Blending often topical lyrics with catchy choruses and guitars mixed with synths when required, the sound of the band changes according the to the song. Not afraid to tackle an acoustic ballad or two either!
